University of Notre Dame tabs StatMonitr for media stats

The University of Notre Dame will use the StatMonitr media stats system to deliver real-time statistical data to media and staff covering its athletic events throughout the 2015-16 school year, StatBroadcast announced today.

Notre Dame is a private Catholic university located near South Bend, Indiana. Founded in 1842, Notre Dame has a current enrollment of over 11,750 students. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish compete at the NCAA Division I FBS level as an independent for football and a member of the ACC for all other sports. The Notre Dame football team is one of the most successful programs in history, accumulating 11 consensus national championships and boasting an alumni that includes seven Heisman Trophy winners and 62 members of the College Football Hall of Fame.
